NEIWPCC is seeking an Environmental Analyst to support the implementation of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act in Rhode Island, which assists local and tribal educational agencies with voluntary testing for lead contamination in drinking water at schools and child care facilities. What You’ll Do Manage and oversee the day-to-day objectives of the Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program.  Develop, produce, and implement policies and guidance for Rhode Island’s WIIN Act grant activities. NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time Environmental Analyst to assist with the implementation of source water protection measures for public water systems throughout New York State.   What You’ll Do  As a NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst, you will work alongside internal and external partners to implement the Drinking Water Source Protection Program (DWSP2). You will: Facilitate collaboration and communication to further develop the program. Manage contracts with technical assistance providers and monitor progress of workplans, identifying potential issues and collaborating on solutions. Review and provide detailed feedback on draft plans, deliverables, and final reports. Collect, compile, organize and analyze environmental data (using GIS and R programing) to inform program reporting and implementation.
