Key Objectives

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
  • Support team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases and questions.
  • Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions with precision.
  • Verify prices and scan items to ensure accurate billing.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product information.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, stocked, and orderly at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in cashiering or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
