NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time Environmental Analyst to assist with the implementation of source water protection measures for public water systems throughout New York State. What You’ll Do As a NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst, you will work alongside internal and external partners to implement the Drinking Water Source Protection Program (DWSP2). You will:
Facilitate collaboration and communication to further develop the program.
Manage contracts with technical assistance providers and monitor progress of workplans, identifying potential issues and collaborating on solutions.
Review and provide detailed feedback on draft plans, deliverables, and final reports.
Collect, compile, organize and analyze environmental data (using GIS and R programing) to inform program reporting and implementation.
Prepare summary reports and technical documents for stakeholders.
