Are you passionate about educating others on environmental issues, such as the protection of our region’s lakes? We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual to support the daily operations of the Colleen Hickey Lake Champlain Resource Room at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain on the Burlington waterfront and support Lake Champlain Basin Program education and outreach initiatives in Grand Isle, VT.
Position Overview
Support the day-to-day operations of the Resource Room including staffing the room and delivering programs and activities relevant to the protection of the Lake Champlain basin.
Develop and deliver watershed lessons and public engagement activities at school and community events across the watershed; share concerns with the public and provide resources for getting involved or changing behavior to benefit the watershed.
Cultivate watershed stewardship by sharing opportunities for individual and community action.
