Help to protect drinking water in Maine! Seeking an Assistant Environmental Analyst to support the Subsurface Wastewater Unit’s licensing and permitting efforts, and provide collaborative assistance for Maine’s Drinking Water Program. What You’ll Do: Support the Subsurface Wastewater Unit’s Cert Tracker database and licensing functions. Process permit reconciliations, communicate with and educate town officials on permitting and payment issues. Serve as the administrator for the Maine Water Well Commission by coordinating monthly meetings, meeting logistics and attendee travel, as well as compiling meeting agendas and meeting minutes. Assist with variance requests and examinations for the Maine State Site Evaluator program. Provide QA/QC of data entry functions, and assist with data improvement projects.
