Position Overview Based out of Bozeman or Kalispell, the Youth Program Coordinator (YPC) is a seasonal, 8-month position supporting MCC’s Youth Program. Reporting to the Youth Program Manager, the role balances administrative systems, logistical preparation, and direct field support. During the winter and spring, the YPC manages youth admissions, conducts school and youth outreach, organizes gear caches, and helps lead the 5-week Youth Program Leader training. As the summer field season peaks, the position transitions into an active logistical and mentoring resource—tracking participant data, supporting AmeriCorps Youth Leaders and youth participants, and maintaining clear communication across MCC offices, project partners, and crews.
