NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time Environmental Analyst to serve as a regional coordinator for the Long Island Sound Partnership (LIS Partnership), assisting with the planning and implementation of activities and projects to restore and protect the water quality of the Long Island Sound. What You’ll Do As a NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst, you will: Serve as a co-chair to the Clean Waters and Healthy Watersheds Work Group by tracking project effectiveness, identifying and addressing implementation gaps, and assisting in work group administration and facilitation. Work alongside internal and external partners and act in a coordinator capacity for addressing water quality issues related to pathogens, toxic contaminants and marine debris.
