Job Overview The Conservancy of Southwest Florida seeks a visionary and strategic leader to serve as its next Director of Environmental Science. This is a high-impact, public-facing role for an accomplished environmental professional passionate about protecting Florida’s unique ecosystems. Reporting to the Chief Programs Officer, the Director will lead a dedicated team of scientists in developing and executing an integrated research agenda that informs policy, engages stakeholders, and advances the Conservancy’s mission. This position serves as the primary spokesperson for the Science Department, advising senior leadership, building donor confidence, cultivating partnerships, and representing the organization at the regional and statewide levels. A strong background in marine or climate science is highly preferred.
