Environmental Careers Leadership Council

Are you a recruitment leader, a seasoned professional, people person that wants to help others, and you care about the environment?

Then you might be right for the Environmental Careers Leadership Council.

The Environmental Careers Leadership Council is being established to:

• help guide environmental careers research,
• facilitate connections between environmental employers and talented candidates, 
• create more opportunities to network with your peers,
• guide upcoming environmenttal career and recruitment events 

 The Environmental Careers Leadership Council will be comprised of environmental, conservation, and sustainability employers, recruiters, experienced professionals, and recent college graduates.

We'll "meet" about once per quarter via Zoom.  John Esson, the Director of the Environmental Career Center leads the meeting and distributes the agenda based on input from Leadership Council members.  We're all busy so the agenda and time will be tight - 40-minute sessions. 

Some of the topics we'll discuss may include, but not limited to:

• Your thoughts, issues, topics, and challenges related to environmental, sustainability, and conservation careers and recruiting, trends, training
• 2021 National Environmental Employment Survey
• National 0nline environmental career events
• Regional career events and job fairs
