The Water Agency Hydrogeologist I – Extra-Help performs hydrogeologic support work in the office and field assisting Groundwater Resources Section staff on various projects, including: Preparing figures, graphs, and other materials needed for Groundwater Sustainability Plans Performing groundwater data collection Updating and managing hydrologic and hydrogeologic databases Deploying, maintaining, and calibrating field instrumentation for the collection of surface water and groundwater data The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's Degree or higher in geology, hydrology or engineering with coursework in earth sciences, including groundwater hydrology The ability to work both independently and as part of a team under supervision of Groundwater Resources Section staff Experience in deploying, maintaining, and calibrating field instrumentation and sensors for the collection of surface water and groundwater data Experience collecting hydrologic and hydrogeologic data, such as measuring groundwater level elevations and streamflow Experience using ArcGIS, Matlab, and standard Microsoft Office Suite Closing date and time: 6/20/2018 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time Remember to say you found this opportunity at EnvironmentalCareer.com
