The City of El Paso Office of Resilience and Sustainability was established as a mechanism to expand and enhance the impact of the City’s Sustainability Program through application of the resilience lens. The introduction of resilience thinking in the context of city challenges offers the opportunity to integrate sustainability across other areas of concern such as economic development, city planning, community development and municipal operations just to name a few.
