ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE INTERN (FALL 2019) Description The intern will be working on a variety of tasks related to environmental regulatory compliance requirements and components of the plant's Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). Summer responsibilities will include assisting with environmental audits, collection of compliance data and preparation of required compliance reports, development of training courses and environmental awareness campaigns in the plant, and special projects involving reduction of water consumption, air emissions, waste generation, and/or industrial wastewater discharge. These responsibilities are strictly associated with the management system and compliance activities that are applicable to BMW's buildings and processes. Responsibilities of the Environmental Management department do not extend to mobile sources (i.e. vehicles produced at Plant Spartanburg).
