We conduct research on the status and health of the Adirondack loon population, its nesting success, and threats to loon populations and their habitats. The Education and Outreach internship is made up of a variety of activities that connect the general public to the work of ACLC and to a scientific understanding of the common loon and its role in the Adirondack ecosystem.
