ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Establish annual cycle of activities related to the prospecting, cultivation and stewardship of individual donors and corporate sponsors that will achieve or surpass River Network’s related revenues goals (currently $330,000/year for individual donors and $100,000/year for corporate sponsors). Persistently and relentlessly identify prospective individual donors and corporate sponsors, actively communicating persuasively and passionately through in-person meetings, by phone, via email, and through written products resulting in commitments to River Network and moving investors along a continuum toward higher levels of giving. Oversee direct mail and email campaigns and appeals in collaboration with Marketing and Communications Manager and other colleagues. Manage President/CEO’s appointment schedule with prospective and existing major donors and corporate sponsors, and engage board members and other colleagues in cultivation and stewardship efforts as appropriate. Develop excellent working relationships with River Network’s Board of Directors, working hand in hand with individual board members to execute their annual fundraising goals and commitments.
