Blue Heron Headwaters Conservancy, located in Clarkston, Michigan, seeks a full-time dedicated fundraiser to join the committed staff. The fifty-year-old non-profit organization is expanding its mission to protect land and water for the benefit of current and future generations. A dynamic and experienced individual is sought to create deep donor relationships leading to major gifts, planned giving, capital campaign contributions, increased giving levels and donor retention. Working closely with the Executive Director and supported by current communications, database and event planning personnel, the Director of Donor Engagement will expand the fundraising potential to meet Strategic Planning goals. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, engaging multi-tasker, team worker and be able to bring entrepreneurial fundraising leadership to direct a new approach to donor engagement. Salary in the mid $50’s depending on experience. Open until filled.
