Lake Wateree State Park

Assists with administrative activities to include, but not limited to, receiving and documenting revenues, preparing reports. - Assists with operational activities to include supervising specific areas such as retail sales, day use areas, camping, and other overnight accommodations or special use facilities. - Provides assistance to and works to maintain a safe environment for park visitors, to include enforcement of park rules, regulations and policies within established limits and in accordance with Division policy. - Performs routine maintenance and repair activities on buildings and grounds. - Practices and promotes teamwork within the State Park Service, throughout the agency and with external agency stakeholders. Represents office as an active member on agency teams assigned throughout the year. The above position is a part-time position with Lake Wateree State Park. The position pay will be based upon experience and qualifications. The duties related to these positions include but not limited to Opening and closing park store, cash register operation, camper registration, customer service, facility cleaning, patrolling park grounds such as campground, day use and parking areas during day and night times, and other day to day tasks associated with running a state park / retail outlet. Hours of work vary according to schedule, 30-40 hours/week rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
