Job Description: STV has an opening in our Charlotte office in our Transportation & Infrastructure division that specializes in storm water hydrology and hydraulics for roadway, transit, and municipal projects. Responsibilities: Perform day to day drainage design with limited supervision. Perform roadway drainage design and calculations in support of transportation projects. Produce erosion control plans and acquiring necessary storm water related permits for transportation projects. Familiarity with NCDOT design standards and requirements a plus. Familiarity with Municipal Storm Water projects a plus. Familiarity with Land Development projects a plus. Coordinate plan and design production activities with roadway staff in local office. Required Skills: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required EIT required; PE a plus 3 to 6 years of experience in storm water design including roadway drainage and erosion control plans. Experience using GEOPAK, Microstation, Word and Excel a plus Experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, and GIS a plus Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
