Job Description Industrial Environmental Health & Safety career opportunities are available with a successful and expanding manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA for a Manager/Director level as well as a Representative level. RESPONSIBILITIES : * Establish, implement, track & report plans to improve EH&S performance indicators   * Track and report EH&S metrics and ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations for environmental and safety areas including (OSHA, DER, EPA guidelines) * Implement and maintain company safety policies and practices through inspections, meetings, accident investigations, and communications with plant management * Conduct ergonomics analyses on each work station * Lead air, energy, water and waste (hazardous and non-hazardous) management   * Organize safety, health and environmental training for new employees * Establish accident prevention measures and develop safety-training programs * Lead incident investigations * Establish emergency response plan and team * Assess departmental procedures and establish work safety standards * Keep up to date with knowledge of industry standards * Identify sources of physical safety hazards in facility work areas, investigate solutions and make recommendations for corrective action * Identify high risk accident situations and assist various departments in the implementation of control strategies. * Participate in any special assignments or projects relating to EH&S QUALIFICATONS : * BS in Occupational Health, Safety Science, Environmental Science, or related field   * 5+ years EH&S experience in a manufacturing environment (foundry and engineering background a plus!) * Working knowledge of: OSHA, EPA, Department of Environmental Resources (DER) * Experience with Air, Energy, Water and Waste management * Certified in/or capable of obtaining certification in CPR, First Aid, AED, OSHA 30 Hour * Knowledge in Management systems ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO26000   * Strong Project Management skills * Excellent analytical skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Exemplary leadership skills and ability to work independently * Proficient PC skills (MS Office) * Availability in case of need (day and night) Offering: Paid Time-Off, Paid Holidays, Medical / Dental/ Vision/ Lift STD, LTD Insurance/ Flex Spending Apply now for consideration!
