Their responsibilities may include the training of ES I staff in entry-level competencies; field equipment use, field activities, data entry and the preparation of technical reports. 50% field and 50% office; On call rotation once every 2 months; 8-5 working hours with some flexibility; This is a 22 person company and the Structure is typically: an LSRP, a PM, and an Environmental Specialist (ES1, ES2, or ES3 level); The ES positions are typically environmental scientists OR geologists but they do not do engineering; Clients are developers, banks, insurance, attorneys, utility firms such as PSE&G where they have a contract, and the reports are done in the office by ES3 and above while the ES2 and below help with preparing them but also do the majority of the field work Full service, opportunity to grow and get your feet wet in different functions being that they are a smaller firm where everyone works on everything; They promote from within and are salaried but pay perm employees if they come in on a Saturday; ES2 bonuses could be around $1k and ES3 and above could be $2k or more depending on profitability of the firm AND performance which is based on billable hours  Qualifications : - B.A. or B.S. in a related science field such as Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Environmental Science or Engineering.
