The Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD) is a private nonprofit association of the 47 soil and water conservation districts in Virginia. The VASWCD provides and promotes leadership in the conservation of natural resources through a variety of stewardship and education programs and coordinates conservation program efforts statewide to focus effectively on conservation and environmental issues identified by local member districts. The VASWCD’s mission is to serve and strengthen soil & water conservation districts in their efforts to promote life-long beneficial stewardship of natural resources Statewide.
