Job Announcement Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill the position of  Environmental Educator  at in Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position is responsible for developing and implementing community environmental education programming that advances efforts of Three Rivers Park District to connect underrepresented, and other non-traditional populations of suburban Hennepin County through outdoor recreation and environmental education.   STARTING RANGE: $48,131.00 - $51,000.00, depending on qualifications SALARY RANGE: $48,131.00 - $74,776.00 Work Where You Play A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. Essential Duties and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in environmental education, outdoor recreation, education, public health, youth studies, natural sciences, or related or equivalent fields preferred and two years of of applicable experience working in environmental education, community outreach, recreation education, youth development, OR any combination of education or experience equivalent to the above.  Experience working with individuals and groups with multi-cultural backgrounds in an outdoor setting preferred.  Working knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of current recreational trends, activities, and teaching techniques.
