IMPORTANT:  YOU MUST APPLY TO THIS VACANCY POSTING, MEET ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS, COMPLETE THE SUPPLEMENTAL QUESTIONS AND RECEIVE A SCORE.  YOUR SCORE IS ONLY VALID FOR THIS SPECIFIC VACANCY.  ONCE THIS POSITION IS FILLED, YOUR SCORE IS NO LONGER VALID.  Non-permanent, Seasonal, Full-time employment DESCRIPTION OF WORK Members of this team are challenged daily by integrating the training demands with truly sustainable ecosystem management practices on the ground.  You will work with a multitude of animals and plants found on the property  This is rewarding and fast paced technical wildlife management work.  Candidates in this position require a high level of personal initiative, ability to follow directions, and work independently, as well as in a crew, within general guidelines.  A key attribute is the ability to work safely, following strict safety procedures and protocols pertaining to the live-fire training aspect of the facility.  Candidates will have the chance to hike in steep, hazardous terrain, and work in inclement weather.  There will be the opportunity to travel and work some night and weekend hours.  Candidates must have or be willing to obtain Rabies pre-exposure inoculation at or before the start of employment.  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY Qualifications: Must meet   PA residency requirement Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:   Graduation from an Associate Degree Program in Wildlife Management  OR   Any combination of experience or training which provides the required knowledges, skills, and abilities. Necessary Special Requirement :  Possession of a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator's license.
