Adopt-A-Stream Foundation (AASF) was established in 1985 as a non-profit corporation with the mission to “teach people to become stewards of their watersheds.” The AASF has developed award winning educational materials, and its Streamkeeper Field Training workshops have been conducted throughout the NW. Now, the AASF is developing the Northwest Stream Center: a regional environmental learning facility with stream & wetland ecology and fish & wildlife habitat restoration themes.
