Phillips Wharf Environmental Center located on Tilghman Island, MD is a non-profit organization created to provide a hands-on educational experience with the animals and plants that inhabit the Chesapeake Bay region. In addition to learning about the environment, visitors also learn how the Chesapeake Bay watermen harvest the Bay's resources. Phillips Wharf also has a growing aquaculture operation based on providing sustainable seafood for the community.
