Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems (NGAS) is seeking a sector Sustainability / greeNG Manager to join our Environmental, Safety, Health and Medical (ESHM) team. The position will report to the NGAS ESHM Director.
Responsibilities will be in support of Northrop Grumman’s greeNG Initiative, which encompasses reducing the Company’s environmental impact, including but not limited to greenhouse gas emission reductions (GHG), water conservation and solid waste diversion.
Specific functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leads strategic planning and development for sector Sustainability / greeNG functional homeroom
- Develops strategic plan for achievement of environmental metrics
- Leads sector greeNG program planning and implementation of greenhouse gas, water and solid waste projects as well as enhanced Best Management Practices (eBMP) implementation
- Leads integration of Sustainability / greeNG into key organizations across the sector
- Key liaison to Corporate for greeNG program development and reporting
- Provides key strategic guidance for the development of the next round of Northrop Grumman’s environmental sustainability goals in collaboration with the Corporate greeNG program team
- Manages greeNG budget and Department staffing
