Our mission is to reduce and phase-out toxic emissions from oil and gas operations in Ventura County. We are dedicated to protecting our natural environment and communities from the irreparable damage that can be caused by fossil fuel extraction.
Citizens for Responsible Oil and Gas ("CFROG") is a Ventura County, California based watch-dog and advocacy non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that all oil and gas operations in Ventura County are properly reviewed, permitted, monitored and compliant with relevant environmental and safety laws and regulations. CFROG’s mission is to protect our natural environment and ourselves from the potentially irreparable damage that can be caused by inadequately regulated oil and gas operations here in our County. CFROG is engaged in legal intervention and public education about the oil and gas industry and mobilizes citizen research and response efforts when appropriate.
