Partners Achieving Sustainability Excellence Corps (PASE Corps) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. 

Solving environmental sustainability challenges through research, education, on-the-job training, and engaging the experts, senior professionals, retirees, and other scallywags.

We are developing a national network of environmental scientists, sustainability experts, researchers, educators, retirees, mentors, recent college graduates, planners and doers that serve the public interest through:

  • Providing expertise, mentors and interns for the Sustainability, Conservation, Environmental and Energy sectors
  • Partnerships with colleges and universities

PASE Corps is solving the chronic problem of job seekers needing a job to get experience and employers who want candidates that have experience. Locations : PASE Corps groups may be established in any U.S. location within a metropolitan area of 250,000 or more. Description: PASE Corps Coordinators conduct a variety of research, outreach, training, and management tasks including: Developing a local presence for PASE Corps  training, internships, and job placement.    Working with local colleges or universities to develop advanced environmental training courses that are based on employer needs. Meeting with local and regional environmental employers in all sectors to learn of the key skills needed in entry-level professionals Promoting the PASE Corps intern program.. Coordinating and leading advanced environmental training sessions to include recruitment of participants (trainees), employer-mentors. Seeking continuing education credits through the local/regional college, university, or professional society Establishing paid and unpaid internship experiences for PASE Corps Associates (trainees) Managing  PASE Corps Environmental Associates in rewarding entry-level environmental sustainability careers. Qualifications : At least a bachelor's degree -- master's degree preferred.  Preference for candidates who have college education in environmental-related, sustainability,  human resources, or business degree programs.  Experience in hiring or supervising environmental staff and/or nonprofit management experience is plus.  Must have strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals.   PASE Corps is solving the Catch-22 trap of:  The job requires experienced people, but I need that job to get experience.   PASE Corps participants are passionate about sharpening their skills and abilities and building their resume for a career that makes a difference.  To Apply:    Attach your resume and describe your career goals and action plan.
