Supervisor, Physical Plant   Columbia University is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Physical Plant, to join its Operations team. Responsibilities include assisting the Managers in leading the day-to-day operational functions of the department, scheduling necessary systems repairs/replacements, and assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of preventive and corrective maintenance programs associated with the Physical Plant infrastructure. He/she will manage the planning of job schedules and coordinate it with Client Service Representatives, monitor activities performed by TWU staff and outside contractors, assist with the resolution of complaints, and schedule/coordinate Work Order requests with manpower resources and issues through effective and efficient utilization of personnel and materials. He/she shall be familiar with the central plant and campus systems managed and shall ensure compliance with all Columbia University policies and procedures.   Bachelor’s degree and/or its equivalent required. A minimum of 3–5 years’ related experience required.
