Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility

PEER is a national watchdog organization whose work is directed by public employee activists. We provide legal protection and advocacy to environmental and public health professionals who blow the whistle on corruption and environmental malfeasance within their own agencies. Concerned public employees use PEER as a tool to help shine a light on the internal workings of their agencies, promote sound, accountable government, and steer their agencies back to their true mission. PEER’s national work is directed by the government scientists, land managers, environmental law enforcement agents, field specialists and other resource professionals who have insider knowledge of how their agencies operate.
