Water Resources Engineer  (Silver Spring, MD Office) Charles P. Johnson & Associates, Inc  seeks a Water Resources Engineer to join its Public Sector Division. The Water Resources Engineer will primarily be responsible for designs of all aspects of water resources projects. The candidate must be able to complete complex hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, design water resources improvements including stream restoration, dam improvements, and storm drain and storm water management retrofits, prepare and obtain all approvals for all construction documents, handle client communications, and participate construction observation and documentation efforts. This position will also be required to work with CAD technicians, surveyors, and sub-consultants as well as assist in the preparation of construction documents. The candidate will be required to communicate with the Public Sector Division Manager as well as other Project Managers on a daily basis. A BS in Civil Engineering plus one (1) year of water resources experience is required. Must  also be able to demonstrate intimate knowledge of and experience in the execution of water resources projects including phases of feasibility, conceptual design, construction document preparation, permitting, and construction management and documentation.  The candidate must have experience with AutoDesk’s Civil 3D and Microsoft’s Project.   Remember to say you found this opportunity at EnvironmentalCareer.com
