CH2M’s Atlanta office is seeking a junior level water resources scientist to support our water resources and ecosystem management group May 2018.  The water resources scientist position will be responsible for handling work related to environmental monitoring, watershed studies, stormwater utility feasibility and implementation, water resource studies, environmental reports, wetland delineations, floodplain mapping and studies, ecosystem restoration, as well as permitting support services. The water resources scientist will support various types of environmental planning, permitting, ecosystem restoration design, ecological studies, watershed studies, and documentation for water resource projects for local, state, federal, and private clients.  • Field sampling and data analysis associated with both water quality and biological sampling efforts. Experience with or an understanding of the design of field sampling plans for water quality, as well as either fisheries or macroinvertebrate sampling is beneficial.   • Assistance with the development and implementation of Watershed Protection Plans, environmental assessments and permitting support documentation,   • Evaluating stormwater management programs including data analysis and evaluation through GIS, document preparation, and/or developing and evaluating stormwater inventories   • Other activities could involve assistance with ecosystem restoration design and implementation, capital improvement planning, preparation of regulatory documents, and/or the preparation of watershed master planning studies   • Possess an outgoing and positive attitude, are dependable and meet all assigned project deadlines.   • Participate in achieving a Target Zero safety plan. The minimum qualifications for this position are: • B.S.
