Fairmined is an assurance label, that certifies gold from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations who meet world leading standards for responsible practices. Fairmined transforms mining into an active force for good, ensuring organizational and social development and environmental protection. The biggest positive impact to be made in the entire gold industry is with artisanal miners; as approximately 150 million people, miners and their families, depend on this economic activity worldwide.
