Job Manages and carries out services related to the Environmental Programs section of the Wastewater Division. Under the general direction of the Wastewater Division Manager, the Environmental Programs Supervisor plans, coordinates, implements, and performs daily activities relative to industrial wastewater pretreatment; control of wastewater fats, oil, and grease; and stormwater drainage. Oversees program activities and maintains local, state, and federal regulatory compliance for the industrial wastewater pretreatment program, the fats oil & grease (FOG) program, and the stormwater program (including underground injection control). Provides technical assistance to the public for treatment of stormwater and industrial wastewater. Conducts facility and site inspections and prepares, issues, and enforces wastewater discharge permits. This position will collect water quality samples, analyze data, and prepare reports regarding industrial/commercial wastewater, stormwater runoff, and sediment.
