Tucson Audubon Society

Tucson Audubon Society (TAS), one of the largest and most respected Audubon chapters in the U.S., seeks an experienced, visionary leader to work with Board, staff, and investors to take our organization to its next level.  Founded in 1949 and located in beautiful southeastern Arizona, TAS inspires people to enjoy and protect birds through recreation, education, conservation, and restoration of the environment. We work to connect people to their natural world through birds, and to foster the responsible and sustainable use of our natural resources.

TAS leads the way for this critical birding region in land conservation science and implementation, and environmental education for children and adults. TAS has three locations, two nature shops, the successful Southeast Arizona Birding Festival, and a reputation for its professional publications: the Vermilion Flycatcher, bird checklists, and Finding Birds in Southeast Arizona (book and app).
