Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area

The Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area Corporation (YCNHAC) is the coordinating entity for the Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area (NHA). The NHA was originally designated by Congress in 2000 for a 15 year period, and was reauthorized for a 7 year period through 2022. The boundaries of the NHA are primarily in Yuma, Arizona’s historic downtown and along 7 miles of the Lower Colorado River.

Yuma is located in the southwestern corner of Arizona, where Arizona, California, and Mexico meet. The current YCNHA budget is $2.5M.
