With over 300 classes offered year round North House Folk School is a vibrant and growing non-profit. In it's 18 years on the shore of Lake Superior North House's mission "to enrich lives and build community by teaching traditional northern crafts in a student-centered learning environment that inspires the hands, the heart and the mind" has been demonstrated through the countless students and visitors that have graced our campus. Our student learn in a non-competetive environment that provides the perfect catalyst for inspiration.
