As a Commercial Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible developing new business opportunities for solar installations between 200 kW and 5 MW in size.
Lead generation - Identify and develop new business prospects through cold calls and conducting sales appointments with key decision makers representing installers, project developers, commercial energy end-users, and government agencies.
Manage complete sales process for existing customers to assure repeat business.
Obtain potential client's electricity bills and conduct analysis of customer’s current and projected electrical usage.
Conduct project feasibility study including developer/off taker creditworthiness, utility rate and incentive programs, PPAs, roof/land leases, environmental reports, zoning, local permits and site assessment.
Create Project Proposal and present Proposal during follow up meetings with potential customer.
Secure signed contract from customer.
Present executed contract to Engineering and Design staff for final review and processing.
Attend weekly sales meetings conducted by Executive VP of Business Development.
Produce all relative sales reporting information on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to management team.
Achieve sales targets and other measures of performance as set forth by Executive VP of Business Development.
