The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center is a 128 acre Environmental Education Center owned by Albuquerque Public Schools and run by the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. Each year the SMNHC teaches about 17,000 students, teachers and parents about the interconnectedness of nature through a series of fun, exciting and educational programs. The Center is located in beautiful Cedar Crest, New Mexico adjacent to the Cibola National Forest.
