Position Summary This individual will be responsible for conducting and documenting Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR), Technologically Enhanced Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (TENORM), Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC), and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance inspections.   Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions Conduct and document field inspections of production facilities including SWPPP, LDAR, and TENORM compliance for reporting to governmental agencies Gather and analyze data from field locations to present to the Regulatory Department Communicate with regulatory agencies, as required Conduct all field work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner Ensure SWPPP BMP’s are properly installed and maintained; conduct minor BMP maintenance This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Incumbents will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and duties outside of their normal responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor.   Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Understanding of LDAR, TENORM, SPCC, and SWPPP regulatory requirements Experience conducting SPCC inspections Good computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Good verbal and written communication skills Possess a valid driver’s license Must live within 50 mile commuting distance of Williston, ND or Watford City, ND Must be at least 21 years old for Company motor vehicle insurance Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and functional capacity examination Preferred Qualifications Completion of the SWPPP 201 training/course Associates degree or higher Completion of TENORM Surveyor training Completion of thermography (FLIR camera) training Experience with construction/excavation Remember to say you found this opportunity at EnvironmentalCareer.com
