Angler Environmental was founded in 2000 in Virginia as a pond services and mitigation consulting firm. In 2002, after developing our first wetland mitigation bank, Angler Environmental designers realized the need for construction crews who truly understood the particular challenges and demands of performing heavy construction in environmentally sensitive areas, such as wetlands. As a result, we developed our Ecological Construction division that year. With specialty trained crews and low-impact equipment in house, our construction division has gone on to restore over 20 miles of stream and 300 acres of wetlands to date. This includes 11 stream and wetland mitigation banks fully designed, permitted, and constructed by Angler Environmental.
As Angler Environmental continues to grow, our scope of services has expanded to full assessment, permitting, design, and construction of water resources for public and private sector projects. Branch offices have opened in Richmond, VA; Odenton, MD; Fairfax, VA; and Garner, NC. Angler Environmental has over 150 employees and recently opened an in-house vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair shop, Streamline Service Center.
