Location: Lake Erie Center, Toledo, Ohio
We are seeking a career-oriented individual to be in charge of communications and technology for the University of Toledo’s Lake Erie Center, located on the shores of Lake Erie about 20-30 minutes from our main campus. The job involves writing, designing, proofing, and updating the website, brochures, and communications for the research, education, and outreach programs of the Lake Erie Center (see http://www.utoledo.edu/nsm/lec/).  The position also entails being in charge of AV logistics and p.r. for on-site conferences and meetings, and being in charge of day-to-day computers and server needs, interfacing with support from IT on the main campus.  Beautiful location, lake-front office with view, great working conditions.
Qualifications:
  • 4 year university degree (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 1 year or more professional website design & brochure design experience (see http://www.utoledo.edu/nsm/lec/)
  • Great Proofreading, English & Writing Skills
  • AV and Computer Database Skills/Experience
  • AV and Computer Database Skills/Experience
  • Superior Communication & People Skills
  • Knowledge of Science, Nature & the Great Lakes is a plus
