Save the Redwoods League is seeking a Sierra Stewardship and Restoration Manager. You would be responsible for providing the primary support for restoration planning and implementation in the giant sequoia range. The core duties will include ecological restoration and fuels reduction project design and implementation as well as coordination of all elements of stewardship on League-held lands in the giant sequoia range. The Sierra Stewardship and Restoration Manager will also provide support in the advancement of the Giant Sequoia Working Group (GSWG) and further develop relationships with agency partners to increase the pace and scale of restoration treatments throughout the range. This is a five-year term position with potential to extend, as determined by the ongoing role of the League in planning and implementation of restoration projects in the region.
