This individual will provide overall program coordination, budget oversight, administration, and cooperation with partners to facilitate federally funded activities that protect and improve the natural and human resources of the Lake Champlain watershed. NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time Environmental Analyst to serve as a regional coordinator for the Long Island Sound Partnership (LIS Partnership), assisting with the planning and implementation of activities and projects to restore and protect the water quality of the Long Island Sound. What You’ll Do As a NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst, you will: Serve as a co-chair to the Clean Waters and Healthy Watersheds Work Group by tracking project effectiveness, identifying and addressing implementation gaps, and assisting in work group administration and facilitation. NEIWPCC is seeking an Environmental Analyst to support the implementation of the Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act in Rhode Island, which assists local and tribal educational agencies with voluntary testing for lead contamination in drinking water at schools and child care facilities. What You’ll Do Manage and oversee the day-to-day objectives of the Lead Testing in School and Child Care Program.  Develop, produce, and implement policies and guidance for Rhode Island’s WIIN Act grant activities. Develop needed contracts to fulfill the objectives of the grant, manage contract deliverables and respond to inquiries from grant partners. NEIWPCC is seeking a full-time Environmental Analyst to assist with the implementation of source water protection measures for public water systems throughout New York State.   What You’ll Do  As a NEIWPCC Environmental Analyst, you will work alongside internal and external partners to implement the Drinking Water Source Protection Program (DWSP2). You will: Facilitate collaboration and communication to further develop the program. Manage contracts with technical assistance providers and monitor progress of workplans, identifying potential issues and collaborating on solutions. Review and provide detailed feedback on draft plans, deliverables, and final reports.
