Description We are seeking a Student Intern to participate in studies, designs and assist with construction observation for our Water/Wastewater Department in our Muscatine, Iowa office. Tasks will include completion of assigned duties associated with water, wastewater, water reuse, and water resources related projects. This is a temporary position with the potential to lead to full time employment in the future. Knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit, or GIS software is a plus. The ideal candidate will have an interest in water, wastewater, and/or water resources and will be enthusiastic and willing to learn. Responsibilities include assisting with engineering tasks such as the collection and analysis of data; checking design computations and quantity estimates; preparing preliminary calculations; and assisting with design of treatment processes, piping, and pumping facilities; assisting with the development of reports, specifications, and plans; periodic observation of on-going construction projects. Periodic travel, client meetings, and field work may be required. Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering Must be at least a college sophomore with a minimum 3.0 (4.0 point scale) grade point. Must have an interest in water wastewater, water reuse and/or water resources. Knowledge of Microstation, AutoCAD, Revit, and/or GIS software is a plus Must possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must possess good writing skills. Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC  is currently seeking two team-focused, passionate, and results-oriented Environmental Intern who is looking for a hands-on learning experience in their field of study.  These 40+ hour per week internships will be based out of our offices in  Cedar Rapids, IA and Des Moines, IA  from June through August 2019 focusing on various environmental industries including water resources, land-based remediation, and mining.
