The successful candidate wil l:
Ensure company compliance with environmental regulations
Serve as liaison with external and governmental agencies
Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance personnel to ensure site compliance with environmental, chemical safety, waste management, and wildlife management regulations
Conduct inspections or assessments to determine compliance, and provide advice and recommendations regarding compliance issues and corrective actions to Operations and Management.
Analyze and evaluate data and prepare reports to keep Management apprised of site environmental compliance.
Serve as contact with community/local public to resolve complaints or problems.
Procure services or materials for the administration and implementation of environmental programs.
Coordinate hazardous waste disposal.
Provide training to site personnel in the handling of chemicals, waste materials or other requirements.
