Detailed Description This is a professional, technical position that leads the City’s energy management program and practices. This position also collaborates with utility, service, and equipment providers to coordinate organizational energy and sustainability programs, and provides information, analysis, and recommendations to multiple stakeholders. This person will support facility managers responsible for managing energy-using assets to achieve energy and cost savings; create internal policies and procedures for effective and efficient operations, set goals, and monitor progress;  develop energy management measures related to building HVAC and electrical usage; and, at times, engaging the community to make the City of St. Petersburg a sustainability and resilience leader on track to meet the City’s 100% Clean Energy and other sustainable, economic and equity goals.  An employee in this class must beable to quickly develop a thorough knowledge of departmental programs,...
