Ideal candidates will have a B.S. in Environmental Studies or related field and at least one year of experience performing environmental compliance in relation to Virginia Pollution Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) inspections and reporting. Job responsibilities will include inspections and reporting; Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) development; and coordinating with federal and state resource agencies with regard to wetlands, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater compliance. Erosion and sediment control certifications are a plus, but not required (CPESC, CESSWI, CISEC, or Virginia DEQ Stormwater Management (SWM) and Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) Inspector training and certifications).
