Key activities
We have a range of activities that volunteers can choose from or opt in for a bit of everything:
· Brenton-on-Sea has a free-roaming bushbuck population which very little is known about, despite their extensive interaction with the local community. We aim to bridge this knowledge gap by conducting population assessments, studying infraspecific behaviour and assessing human-wildlife conflict.
· We contribute to the Southern African Bird Atlas and Birdlasser citizen science projects, who use hundreds of volunteers across several southern African countries to map the distribution and relative abundance of birds in Southern Africa. You can be a part of this huge project by helping us conduct bird point count three times a week. No bird IDing skills? No problem! We will teach you everything you need to know to become an expert birder.
