Essential Duties: Update and maintain sustainability reporting data collection workbooks for waste metrics reporting efforts; perform quality control checks on data inputs from metric sources: 3rd party vendors, internal data collection etc. Support the development and documentation of data quality management plans, quality assurance and control processes, and data warehousing/archiving standards. Work with site subject matter experts to facilitate the sustainability data collection process; provide data collection tools and quality checks throughout the collection period. Coordinate data collection, analysis, and synthesis of waste, and as needed, energy, water, and other utility data and reporting, briefing papers, presentations and planning for external standards organizations (e.g., GRESB, LEED, TRUE, etc). Present Great Forest data portal to clients as needed. Ensure data is uploaded onto the database or provided as required by clients via templates and timeframes. Assist in report design and development. Orchestrate data collection and verification for a range of reporting projects and needs. Draft waste audit reports and submit for review The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive. Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, environmental science, sustainability technical communications, or related fields. Excellent Excel skills required. Experience: 1-3 years of experience and/or demonstrated ability to meet the position requirements; Familiarity with environmental data and reporting, including greenhouse gas (GHG), energy, water, waste, etc. Business/finance/environmental/sustainability background. Skills and Abilities: Excel, data analytics and data visualization skills. Report drafting skills. Ability to work with limited supervision as part of a team. Ability to work with a range of data points and team members. Analytical thinking. General Duties and Expectations: Arrive to work on time, or provide notice as needed. Submit expenses as needed.
