The City of Gainesville is seeking a Director of Sustainable Development . This is a higher-level managerial and administrative role supporting staff in facilitating, assisting and guiding customers through the steps involved in the process of starting or growing a business in Gainesville. This position serves at the will of the City Manager and may be appointed or removed at will by the City Manager. The Director of Sustainable Development will serve with the City's Planning and Development Services staff solving problems and creating opportunities for business development to flourish within the community.
